Ellie Pashley

Ellie Pashley

Ellie is a marathon runner who represented Australia at the Tokyo (2020) Olympics in 2021 where she finished in 23rd place.

She is a physiotherapist at Offshore Physio in Torquay, who has a particular interest in running injuries and injury prevention. Ellie has had the privilege of being coached by Julian for a number of years now – and attributes this to being what turned her from a recreational runner to a serious athlete, and the reason she has not had to miss an extended period of training due to injury.

Ellie started running marathons in 2016 where she ran Melbourne in 2:46. She has then progressed down to 2:26 in Nagoya in early 2019. She most recently ran the New York Marathon and finished 8th female in a time of 2:27. She also has a 10km PB of 31:18 from the 2019 World Champs in Doha where she finished in 13th place.

Ellie loves coaching – she really believes in the importance of having a coach and a program to follow for motivation and consistency. She loves training people of all levels who are driven and keen to improve.
