Narelle started coaching over 10 years ago and has helped many runners achieve new distances and personal bests over this time. She loves sharing the running experience with her athletes, continuously learning through her own training, her athletes, and is an accredited Level 2 Coach through Athletics Australia.
She started running when she finished school and moved to Melbourne for University, after spending her school years playing netball and tennis. It didn’t take long for her to become interested in running further and has now notched up 10 marathons.
She has been instrumental in establishing a strong running culture in the Western Victorian town of Hamilton where she set up the Hamilton Running Club, a thriving Recreational Running Club. She loves sharing her passion for running, getting together for group runs, supporting and challenging each other along the way.
Narelle knows what it’s like to juggle many different roles whilst still prioritising her own running for her mental and physical wellbeing. She is a Mum to 3 young children, works in an office part time, and is a Personal Trainer.
Her coaching philosophy is one where consistency is key, viewing every athlete individually and making sure that their lifestyles are always considered when coaching. She wants more people to experience the benefits of running, not just for the short term but for many years to come.
