Neil ran his first marathon 35 years ago and completed his first triathlon 25 years ago- he has longevity in endurance sport. Coming from a family of coaches his real passion became helping athletes reach their own goals and he’s been doing this since the 1990s. He has worked with runners, from those looking to complete their first ParkRun to elites gaining Olympic qualification, and 800m runners through to ultra marathoners.
His focus is to improve efficiency in endurance athletes. He combines his understanding of high level coaching and racing in order to stay ahead of the competition utilising up to date and evidence based training techniques that will be beneficial to all levels of athlete.
Neil loves to train and race and has competed at all levels from 800m to ultra marathon, completing the Comrades Ultra Marathon in South Africa in both directions. Ongoing involvement is of vital importance to him. He knows and wants to continue to understand what it takes to get out the door and train and to prepare for race day.
