Tristan is an elite marathon runner from deep in the Canadian wilderness, where he often runs into more wildlife than people. He got involved in competitive sport as a triathlete when he was 14 years old, and after a number of years competing in triathlon (including representing Canada at the 2011 World Junior Championships), he decided to focus solely on running. His debut was the 2015 Rotterdam Marathon in 2:27, and slowly from there cut his PB down to 2:10 at the 2020 London Marathon.
Tristan’s coaching philosophy is geared towards long term aerobic development through consistency over time. He believes everyone is unique in how they respond to training and focuses on finding each athlete an individual formula where they can see steady improvement.
